The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
