Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious. 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse. 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 And We shall inherit from him (at his death) all that he talks of (i.e. wealth and children which We have bestowed upon him in this world), and he shall come to Us alone. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 Indeed no! They will renounce their worship and turn against them. 82
