Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
