Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
