The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
When the sun is wound up; 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 and when the mountains are made to vanish, 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 when the souls are coupled (to their body), 7 And when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 For what crime she was killed; 9 And when the pages are made public 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. 14 I swear by the receding stars, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 and the night that falls, 17 And the breath of morning 18 That this is indeed the word of an honoured Messenger, 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 For, this fellow-man of yours is not a madman: 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 Whither then will you go? 26 This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). 27 (With profit) to whoever among you wills to go straight: 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Sustainer of all the worlds, wills [to show you that way]. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
