1/2 Hizb 45
< random >
۞ [The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship 22 “Instead of Allah and herd them to the path leading to hell.” 23 Stop them. They must be questioned." 24 [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?" 25 In fact this day they have all surrendered. 26 And some of them shall advance towards others, questioning each other. 27 They will say: verily ye! ye were wont to come unto us Imposing. 28 They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers. 29 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 On that Day they will all share the punishment: 33 that is how We deal with evil-doers. 34 Surely they used to behave proudly when it was said to them: There is no god but Allah; 35 And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?" 36 Aye! he hath come with the truth, and he confesseth to the sent ones. 37 Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment; 38 and not be recompensed, except according to what you were doing.' 39 Except the chosen creatures of God, 40 For them awaits a known provision, 41 fruits of various kinds; and they shall be honoured, 42 In Gardens of Felicity, 43 They will be seated upon couches set face to face; 44 With cups from a flowing stream being passed around, 45 Clear, delicious to drink, 46 There will neither be any harm in it for their body nor will it intoxicate their mind. 47 and with them wide-eyed maidens restraining their glances 48 As though they were eggs hidden. 49 Then they will turn to one another, mutually questioning. 50 one of them will say, "I had a friend, 51 Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death). 52 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be recompensed?" 53 [And] he adds: "Would you like to look [and see him]?" 54 He therefore looked down and saw him amidst the blazing fire. 55 He will say, "By God! You almost brought me to ruin! 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 But then, [O my friends in paradise,] is it [really] so that we are not to die 58 "Except our first death, and that we shall not be punished?" 59 Verily this! that is the supreme achievement. 60 For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. 61 So is this welcome better, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 Truly We have made it (as) a trail for the Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers, wrong-doers, etc.). 63 It is a tree that grows from the bottom of Hell; 64 its spathes are as the heads of Satans, 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 then on top of it they have a brew of boiling water, 67 then their return is unto Hell. 68 They indeed found their fathers astray, 69 and they are running in their footsteps. 70 And assuredly many of the ancients went astray before them, 71 And We had sent admonishers to them. 72 See how those who were warned met their end! 73 Save the bondmen of Allah sincere. 74

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
