▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
