The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
