The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
