The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 Nay, but [in the life to come such as] he shall indeed be abandoned to crushing torment! 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 It will engulf them. 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
