WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 and then We will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate Lord, 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 How many generations have We destroyed before them, who were far greater in riches and more boastful! 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
