The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
