We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
