Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
