We saved the Children of Israel from their humiliating torment 30 from Pharaoh, who ranked high in sin, 31 We knowingly chose them above all other people 32 And We gave them of the communications wherein was clear blessing. 33 Verily, these (Quraish) people are saying: 34 There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 Then bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful." 36 Are they better, or the people of Tubba' and those before them whom We destroyed? They were surely sinners. 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, out of play. 38 We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 The Day of Final Decision is the appointed time for all; 40 The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive, 41 Except those upon whom Allah has mercy; indeed He only is the Most Honourable, the Most Merciful. 42
