The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
