Messengers, eat what is wholesome and do good deeds: I am well aware of what you do. 51 “And indeed this religion of yours is one religion only and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me.” 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 So leave them in their bewilderment for a while. 54 Do they think that We are helping them by giving them children and property? 55 We are hastening them on to good things? Aye! they perceive not. 56 Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord 57 And those who believe in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, 58 And those who ascribe not partners unto their Lord, 59 and who give whatever they [have to] give with their hearts trembling at the thought that unto their Sustainer they must return: 60 These hasten to good things and they are foremost in (attaining) them. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication! 64 Invoke not loudly this day! Certainly, you shall not be helped by Us. 65 My Signs were rehearsed to you and you turned back on your heels and took to flight, 66 waxing proud against it, talking foolish talk by night.' 67 Is it then that they do not ponder over what is said, or is it that there has come to them that which did not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or do they not recognize their Messenger, and so deny him? 69 Or do they say: There is madness in him? Nay! he has brought them the truth, and most of them are averse from the truth. 70 And should the truth follow their low desires, surely the heavens and the earth and all those who are therein would have perished. Nay! We have brought to them their reminder, but from their reminder they turn aside. 71 (Do they disbelieve because) you asked them for payment? The reward that you will receive from your Lord is the best. He is the best Provider. 72 (Muhammad), you certainly have called them to the right path, 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And already We overtook them with chastisement, but they were not submissive to their Lord, nor do they humble themselves. 76 So that when at last We open up the gate of severe punishment on them they will be overwhelmed with despair. 77
