The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
