And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
