Surely, the cautious shall have Gardens of Bliss with their Lord. 34 Shall We then treat those who have surrendered as We treat the guilty? 35 What aileth you? How foolishly ye judge! 36 Is there a Book for you, from which you read? 37 surely in it you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or, have you an oath from Us that stretches to the Day of Resurrection (if so) you shall surely have what you judge! 39 Ask them, which of them will guarantee that! 40 Have they associate gods? Then let them produce their associate gods if they say sooth! 41 On the day when there shall be a severe affliction, and they shall be called upon to make obeisance, but they shall not be able, 42 downcast will be their eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them - seeing that they had been called upon [in vain] to prostrate themselves [before Him] while they were yet sound [and alive]. 43 Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Quran. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not. 44 I shall give them respite, however, My plan is so strong that they will never be able to escape from it. 45 Askest thou a hire from them so that they are laden with debt? 46 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 had his Lord not bestowed His favour upon him, he would have been cast upon that barren shore (and would have remained there) in disgrace. 49 But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous. 50 And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: "Surely he is possessed!" 51 And it is naught but a reminder to the nations. 52
