Nay! By the moon 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 it is a warning to man, 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 About the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
