۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 "There is a small group of people 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
