To whoever We give a long life We make him stoop. Do they not understand? 68 We have not taught (Muhammad) to versify, nor is it worthy of him. This is nothing but a reminder and illuminating discourse, 69 to warn all who are truly alive, and to justify the word [God's verdict] against the deniers. 70 Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own? 71 We have subdued them to them, and some of them they ride, and some they eat; 72 and may have [yet other] benefits from them, and [milk] to drink? Will they not, then, be grateful? 73 And yet they have taken gods, other than Allah, so that they might be helped! 74 They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned). 75 So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare. 76 Beholdest not man that We have created him from a sperm? Yet lo! he is a manifest disputer? 77 And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away? 78 Say, "He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation!- 79 who has made for you out of the green tree fire and lo, from it you kindle.' 80 Is not He, Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator. 81 But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is. 82 Therefore Purity is to Him in Whose Hand* is the control over all things and it is towards Him that you will be returned. (Used as a metaphor to mean Power). 83
