We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
