Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
