The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Put He not their stratagem to straying. 2 And He sent against them Flights of Birds, 3 Which hit them with stones of baked clay, 4 And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle)? 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
