Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
