The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
