And Nuh, when he cried aforetime, so We answered him, and delivered him and his followers from the great calamity. 76 and helped him against the nation who had belied Our signs. They were an evil nation; We drowned them all. 77 (Remember) David and Solomon, when they pronounced judgement about the field which was eaten up at night by sheep belonging to certain people. We were witness to their judgement. 78 And We made Sulaiman (Solomon) to understand (the case), and to each of them We gave Hukman (right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) and knowledge. And We subjected the mountains and the birds to glorify Our Praises along with Dawud (David), And it was We Who were the doers (of all these things). 79 We taught him the art of making coats of mail for you, to protect you in battle. Will you then give thanks? 80 And We subjected the fast wind for Sulaiman, which moved by his command towards the land in which We have placed blessings; and We know everything. 81 and of the Satans some dived for him and did other work besides; and We were watching over them. 82 ۞ And Job, when he cried unto his Lord, (saying): Lo! adversity afflicteth me, and Thou art Most Merciful of all who show mercy. 83 So We answered him, and removed the affliction that was upon him, and We gave his people, and the like of them with them, mercy from Us, and a Reminder to those who serve. 84 And Isma'il and ldris and Zul-Kifl! each were of the patient. 85 And they were admitted to Our grace. Verily they were among the doers of good. 86 And ThulNun (Prophet Jonah), he went away in anger thinking We had no power over him. But in the darkness he cried: 'There is no god except You. Exaltations to You! I was among the harmdoers' 87 So We answered him, and delivered him out of grief; even so do, We deliver the believers. 88 Remember Zachariah, when he called out to his Lord, "Do not leave me heirless Lord, You are the best of heirs." 89 So We responded to him and gave him Yahya and made his wife fit for him; surely they used to hasten, one with another In deeds of goodness and to call upon Us, hoping and fearing and they were humble before Us. 90 AND [remember] her who guarded her chastity, whereupon We breathed into her of Our spirit and caused her, together with her son, to become a symbol [of Our grace] unto all people. 91 'Surely this community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord; so serve Me.' 92 And [yet] they divided their affair among themselves, [but] all to Us will return. 93
