۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
