Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 And when the seas are set afire. 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 And when the pages are laid open, 10 when the sky is unveiled, 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 and Paradise is brought near, 13 [then] each soul shall know what it has put forward. 14 BUT NAY! I call to witness the revolving stars, 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 And the night when it departs, 17 And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;- 18 that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger 19 [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], 20 [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! 21 And your companion is not insane. 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen. 24 This is not the utterance of an accursed devil. 25 When whither go ye? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
