Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
