And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
