The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 by those who reprove severely, 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 And when they are warned they pay no heed. 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
