Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 as sustenance apportioned to men; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life: [and] even so will be [man's] coming-forth from death. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
