Lo! We, even We, have revealed unto thee the Qur'an, a revelation; 23 so be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and obey not one of them, sinner or unbeliever. 24 And remember the name of your Lord morning and evening. 25 And part of the night, prostrate thyself to Him; and glorify Him a long night through. 26 Behold, they [who are unmindful of God] love this fleeting life, and leave behind them [all thought of] a grief-laden Day. 27 We have created them and have given them strength. Had We wanted, We could have replaced them with another people like them. 28 Surely this is a Reminder; so he who will, takes unto his Lord a way. 29 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. 30 He maketh whom He will to enter His mercy, and for evil-doers hath prepared a painful doom. 31
