Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 For a known term? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
