In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, 1 created man from a clot [of blood]. 2 Read! Your Lord is the Most Bountiful One 3 who taught by the Pen, 4 taught man what he did not know. 5 Nay, but man doth transgress all bounds, 6 because he thinks that he is independent. 7 Verily unto thy Lord is the return. 8 Hast thou seen him who dissuadeth 9 A servant when he prays? 10 Do you think he is rightly guided, 11 Or he commandeth piety? 12 Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away? 13 Does he not know that Allah sees? 14 No indeed; if he does not desist, We shall drag him by the forelock; 15 A lying, sinning forelock. 16 So let him call his associates, 17 We will call the guards of Hell (to deal with him)! 18 No, indeed; do not obey him! Prostrate and come nearer (to Allah). ۩ 19
