Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
