۞ Have you not looked at those who repaid God's favours with ingratitude; who pulled their people down to ruin, 28 Gehenna, wherein they are roasted; an evil stablishment! 29 They have appointed equals of God to mislead people from His path. Tell them: "Enjoy yourselves (so long as you may). In the end you have to go to Hell." 30 Tell those of My creatures who believe: "Observe your devotional obligations and give of what We have given you in charity, secretly or openly, before the Day arrives when there will be no buying or selling or befriending." 31 Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth and sent down water from the clouds, then brought forth with it fruits as a sustenance for you, and He has made the ships subservient to you, that they might run their course in the sea by His command, and He has made the rivers subservient to you. 32 And He subjected for you the sun and the moon, continuous [in orbit], and subjected for you the night and the day. 33 and gave you of all you asked Him. If you count God's blessing, you will never number it; surely man is sinful, unthankful! 34
