SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 for an appointed time". 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
