Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
