Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 on a straight path; 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
