Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]. 2 Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Yes indeed; We have the power to remould even his finger-tips. 4 In fact man wishes to commit evil in front of Him! 5 He asks, “When will be the Day of Resurrection?” 6 When, then, the sight shall be confounded. 7 the moon eclipsed. 8 And the sun and moon are joined together,- 9 That day man will say: "Where can I find escape?" 10 No, there is no refuge. 11 Upon that day the recourse shall be to thy Lord. 12 On that day man is told the tale of that which he hath sent before and left behind. 13 In fact, people are well-aware of their own soul 14 Though he may put forth his excuses (to cover his evil deeds). 15 Do not move your tongue with it to make haste with it, 16 Lo! upon Us (resteth) the putting together thereof and the reading thereof. 17 So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation. 18 Then indeed, to explain its details to you is upon Us. 19 Nay; the truth is that you love ardently (the good of this world) that can be obtained hastily, 20 And you have forsaken the Hereafter. 21 On the Day of Judgment some faces will be bright, 22 looking towards their Lord; 23 And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted, 24 so they might think the Calamity had been inflicted upon them. 25 Nay; when a man's soul reaches up to the throat, 26 And it is said: Who will be a magician? 27 and he realises that the hour of parting is come, 28 And the leg is wound about the leg, 29 To your Lord then will be the driving. 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
