The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
