The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
