Recall what time Allah said: O 'Isa! verily I shall make thee die, and am lifting thee to myself and am purifying thee from those who disbelieve, and shall place those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection; thereafter unto Me shall be the return of you all, then I shall judge between you of that wherein ye were wont to differ. 55 "And as for those who are bent on denying the truth, I shall cause them to suffer a suffering severe in this world and in the life to come, and they shall have none to succour them; 56 As for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah does not love the harmdoers. 57 This (which) We recite unto thee is a revelation and a wise reminder. 58 Verily, the likeness of 'Iesa (Jesus) before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was. 59 This is the truth from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters. 60 And if anyone should argue with thee about this [truth] after all the knowledge that has come unto thee, say: "Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray [together] humbly and ardently, and let us invoke God's curse upon those [of us] who are telling a lie." 61 This is the true story. There is no God but Allah, and assuredly Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. 62 But if they turn back, then surely Allah knows the mischief-makers. 63
