۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
