Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.
