O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters, as well as all [other] believing women, that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public]: this will be more conducive to their being recognized [as decent women] and not annoyed. But [withal,] God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace! 59 ۞ Truly, if the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City, desist not, We shall certainly stir thee up against them: Then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbours for any length of time: 60 Accursed, wherever they are found, they will be seized and killed. 61 This has been Allah's Way with those who have gone before, and you shall find no change in Allah's Way. 62 People ask you about the Hour (of the great change). Say: "Only God has knowledge of it. Who knows? The Hour may be close at hand." 63 Surely Allah has cursed the unbelievers and has prepared for them a burning fire, 64 therein they shall abide for ever. They shall find none to protect or help them. 65 On that Day when their faces are turned about in the Fire, they shall say: 'Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger' 66 And they will say: our Lord! verily we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they led us astray from the way. 67 O Lord, give them a double punishment, and put a grievous curse upon them." 68
